Take a spiritual gut-check of your love for God, then learn from the church at Ephesus what to do if you have forsaken your first love.
The first of anything will always hold a special place in your life - your first car, your first job, your first crush, your first paycheck, your first love. Your "firsts" are so precious because they often mark profound milestones in your life. This weekend, we are going to finish up the first section of our "High Cost of Living" series by looking at "before and after shots" of a church that started strong but somehow forgot its first love along the way. We'll see the tough but tender heart of God reach out to them and help them pay the high cost of living. In response, we are going to do a tough spiritual gut-check. We'll take a fearless spiritual inventory of ourselves and then make the choice between hiding in shame or taking the steps to get back on track. Throw in my first date, acid wash jeans, feathered hair, and a popped collar and it should be quite a ride!
