A Simple Theology of Work
This week we begin a brand new series called Sweat Equity. In a world where employment, layoffs, cutbacks, job security, and work ethic are paramount in people's minds, I think it is essential that we understand who we are really working for and what should drive us to do good work. The Bible has so much to say about work, ethics and passion. It also has a lot to say about people who are lazy, irresponsible and looking for a free ride. This weekend we go to the books of Genesis and Proverbs for wisdom about how we are supposed to handle the work aspect of everyday life.
