There’s nothing like getting to the end of a long day on the road only to be stopped by gridlock or road construction. Pavement, people and uncontrollable circumstances all seem to mock me as I’m stuck in my car. In fact, there have been times when the stress of the road pushed me to my limits and I just about lost control!
Last week we learned from the Book of 1 Peter the importance of having a clear mind for the journey. This week we take a look at Peter’s reminder to be self-controlled – and how elusive that destination can be if we start off on the wrong road. – Shawn Cunningham
