Welcome to the start a brand new series called Road Trip. One of my favorite parts of vacation is the preparation (I know, I’m weird). I love the checklist, the packing, the organization, and the planning because it all builds toward the moment when you get in the car, turn the key and LEAVE! You leave your job, your house, your normal schedule, your pressures and your predicaments, and you get to take a break.
This week we are going to take a look at two men who were called by God to take the “road trip” of a lifetime. We’ll travel along with them as they set out in obedience, faith and trust. Hopefully, we will learn a few lessons from their adventures that we can apply in our own lives.
