Part 1 in the series challenges us to follow the wise men's lead and release control of a season of life.
It’s hard to believe that we are kicking off the Christmas series this week! This year our series is simply called “Near…” As I read the Christmas story, I have noticed how much people had to release in order to play their part in welcoming Jesus. The wise men had to release an entire season of their lives to follow the star. What was their reward? I believe it was a face to face encounter with the Son of God. After meeting Jesus, something else was released – worship. Watch and listen as we find out what God might be asking us to release this Christmas. Our reward for being obedient will most assuredly be the presence of God as he draws… near.
