This week we continue our series Big Words with a word that most of us have never used in a sentence: propitiation. You might ask, “If I’ve never used the word and don’t plan to use it any time in the future… why should I care?” Good question. In this message, I’ll tell you — and your faith journey may never be the same again! You see, the Bible contains a bunch of troubling scriptures – verses that describe a seemingly unquenchable anger God has against sin. However, in this message we'll also look at some very comforting scriptures - words from God that show us how his anger has been averted by the work of Jesus.
