You could say that Mary and Joseph made their obedience their home. Could that possibly be the missing piece in so many of our Christmas dreams?
I bet that Joseph and Mary felt a little like a ping-pong ball at times. They made the journey from Nazareth to Bethlehem, then back again to Nazareth. Then, because someone was trying to kill their child they escaped to Egypt only to come back home after the coast was clear. I'm sure there were times when they questioned God's plan. But ultimately they trusted and left home time and again. I guess you could say that Mary and Joseph made their obedience their home. Could that possibly be the missing piece in so many of our Christmas dreams?
