Recovery...Our Common Journey
One of our core values at Christ the King Church is a Culture of Recovery. But even the word recovery comes with its own baggage. People may associate recovery groups with substance addiction or those who have endured significant abuse.

From our perspective, recovery is simply the process of recovering the life God intended for us. What we have found is that sometimes people need a little help along the way. A culture of recovery means encouragement to be honest and authentic about where you are without judgment or condemnation. In other words, you get to be a real person.

Recovery groups and classes at CTK provide a community setting where you can experience God's healing presence and power in a safe & supportive environment. By working through well developed materials, applying biblical principles, and sharing our experience with others we begin to grow spiritually, emotionally, and relationally in our journey.

People come to Christ the King Church in all in shapes and sizes with just as many needs. We offer a variety of seasonal classes designed to meet these needs with the primary purpose of restoring the broken and discouraged by providing a caring, safe environment which will encourage, equip, and empower individuals to experience God's fulfillment and purpose for their lives. In addition to 12 Steps, we offer classes such as Boundaries, Search for Significance, and Divorce Recovery.
