Prayer Army

Prayer is one of the most important and powerful tools that God has given us. It changes lives and it changes churches. Prayer gives us the rare privilege of communicating with God, who knows us inside and out.

The Prayer Army is made up of faithful prayer warriors who serve the church by praying for the needs of others. Each week they receive a list of prayer requests by email and, on their own, they make time to pray for these requests and the people who have submitted them. These volunteers help us strengthen the spiritual aspects of our church and ministers to people in need.

Hugs in the Mail

In addition to prayer, we have individuals that could use support, encouragement, sympathy or congratulations. Each week, volunteers send cards to those that could use the extra care. Volunteers supply their own stationary and postage. Typically, volunteers send 2 or 3 cards a week.

Prayer and Care for Our Troops

Many of us have friends or family who are deployed in military service around the world. CTK’s Care Ministry offers several ways for you to show your support and care for those who are serving.

  • Prayer For Our Troops  - Participants receive a list of deployed servicemen and women to pray for at their own convenience.
  • 'We Care' Cards & Packages - Participants send cards or packages containing “creature comforts” that aren’t readily available to deployed servicemen and women.
  • Active Duty Database - I know someone deployed in the military, that I would like to add to the list.
