Successful marriages are not an accident. They are the result of mastering basic skills, convictions and priorities. With coaching and hard work, most couples have been wonderfully helped by premarital instruction and accountability
The following pastors at Christ the King Church are available for counseling and to perform your wedding ceremony:

PLEASE NOTE: For their services, the pastoral staff charge $300.00 to perform wedding ceremonies.
The following are the minimum prerequisites all couples must fulfill before we are able to participate in the wedding:
- Prepare Inventory Evaluation – This survey will be given by the marrying pastor and followed-up by additional counseling sessions. During the initial counseling session the pastor will evaluate and discuss the results of the survey with special attention to the spiritual compatibility of the couple (cost $35.00).
- Couples will agree to a covenant of sexual purity during the pre-marital instruction for spiritual and relational purposes.
- A final session will be scheduled with the marrying pastor for the purpose of planning the wedding and discussing specifics.
For too long the trend has been to fall in love, marry and hope for the best. Today’s culture often places more emphasis on preparation for the wedding ceremony than it does on preparing for the marriage. As soon as the engagement is announced plans for the wedding day begin.
Christ the King Community Church would like to assist you in planning for a lifetime of love, healthy communication, and a strong foundation for intimacy – a starting point for marriage. Our premarital workshops are based on the fact that marriage doesn’t have to be a gamble.

The $300 pastoral fee for weddings includes counseling, rehearsal, wedding and filing of your marriage documents.
Please allow 4 months to complete the premarital process. This will allow plenty of time to go through the counseling. |
