Ministry Information:
At any given time, there are many
hurting people in our congregation. They
may have physical pain or health problems,
emotional pain, spiritual dilemmas,
financial or job stress. There can be any
number of needs for prayer. The After
Service Care Team exists to care for the
spiritual needs of those who request it
after a weekend service.
Our purpose is to listen to those needs
and offer prayer for them. We understand
that it is not by our human power or ability,
but it is through the work of the Holy Spirit
that real life change takes place.
This is a growing ministry at Christ the King and we have seen great things happen! We are very excited about what the Lord can do in our church through this ministry and we anticipate more miracles and transformations each week. Hurting people are finding compassion and support, and connections are being formed that are critical to those seeking Christ. It’s a wonderful blessing that our congregation knows they can find comfort, encouragement, and a partnership in prayer after each service.
We’re here for you.
If you ever need to talk or pray with someone after a weekend service, be sure
to come down in front of the stage in the
Worship Center. Care Team members will
always be standing by to help you.
As a member of the After Service Care
Team, you are only asked to be available at
the service you attend. It is not necessary
for you to be available all weekend. If you are interested in being part of this ministry, please contact Pastor Felix Anderson, or his assistant to schedule an appointment with him. |
