Awana is a fun foundation building ministry for children from the age 2 ½ through high school that teaches them to know love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Awana club meetings are jam-packed with life-changing experiences including games, scripture memory and devotionals. The clubs are run by trained leaders with a love for Jesus and a heart for kids. Club materials are filled with verses from the Bible and guidelines to help kids memorize and understand them. Awana teaches kids that God is real, that He loves them and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. Kids also learn how God can help them in their daily lives. Lessons from the Bible teach them how to honor God. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. This is the end result, but the method is FUN!
