Sunday, August 8

Rather than gathering at the church, we’re going to take the opportunity to be the Church. The Church reaches out, the Church serves. Find a way to reach out to your friends, family, neighbors or community on Sunday, August 8th. Mow someone’s lawn, host a BBQ that includes prayer, gather with your small group for a worship service or find another way the be the Church. 

 

Outdoor Service
Sunday, August 15

Join us on Sunday August 15th for an outdoor worship service. Enjoy acoustic worship, baptisms and a message by Pastor Rich. Stay after service for a fantastic time of BBQ, lawn games and building community.

If you've never been baptized and would like to take this simple but significant step of faith, contact at ext. 276.

If you'd like to contribute to the potluck, just bring a side dish or dessert. We'll provide the main course and beverages.

Our outdoor service will be held at 7087 Ham Road in Ferndale. Seating is provided, but feel free to bring your favorite lawn chair if you would like.

In September 2009, Christ the King Church launched its Ferndale campus with Sunday services at Horizon Middle School! 

 

What is CTK Ferndale?

We are a campus of CTK.  This means we are one church that meets in two locations.  We share mission, vision, & values but each campus focuses specifically on living out these values in their local community.

 

Who is CTK Ferndale for?

Anyone who lives in the Ferndale area is welcome to be a part of the CTK Ferndale campus.

 

What do we do:

Our focus is on doing 3 things well: building authentic Christian community through small groups, reaching out to Ferndale, and providing an excellent weekend worship service for children & adults.

 

How we do church:

  • Authentic Christian community – We build community through small groups which gather throughout Ferndale for conversation, prayer, and encouragement.
  • Community outreach – While we are continually organizing outreach events, and promoting opportunities to serve in the community, our main focus of outreach will be equipping the people of CTK Ferndale to live a life on mission.
  • Weekend services – The weekend service is comprised of worship with a live band followed by a video message from Pastor Grant Fishbook.  We provide quality kids programs during all weekend services for children newborn to 6th grade.
