The Benevolence fund at Christ the King Church is dependent upon generous giving from the people of CTK. It is funded each year through the CTK Blessing. Therefore, we make a promise to all who give that we will disburse their gift in the most effective and responsible manner as possible. Our fund is limited and only available to those experiencing critical financial crisis. Applicants must be attending services regularly.

Christ the King Church does not provide emergency financial assistance. Assistance provided may be in the form of information about community resources, job search resources, budget counseling recommendations or possible financial assistance. Please see Reception for initial screening and application.

The Whatcom Dream

Each quarter the benevolence ministry sponsors a Whatcom Dream class. The Whatcom Dream, is an organization committed to helping people reach their dreams through financial literacy. No matter how messed up your financial world is, the Whatcom Dream is here to help you get your head above water and achieve financial stability. Whatcom Dream’s unique approach helps you create a spending plan based on your true core values. When you learn to live and spend by your values, budgeting can be easy!

Automobile Donations

Did you know that CTK accepts donations of used automobiles?

We accept vehicles that fit the following criteria:

  • is in good working condition
  • requires minimal repairs to make it road worthy
  • is clean
  • the title is clear
  • passes inspection by an agent of CTK

We are currently looking for a vehicle. In addition to the above criteria, it should seat five adults/older kids.

All auto donations are tax deductible.
