Men

CTK is working to equip men to be better husbands, better fathers (or future husbands and fathers) and more influential leaders in the community. If you are a man who attends CTK and follows Jesus, you're already part of "men's ministry." We encourage you to keep doing what you do for the glory of God.

We believe the best catalyst for change in a man's life is to be in face-to-face relationships with a few other men. Here are a few opportunites to do that:

Band of Brothers

Tuesday Nights, 6:00-8:00 PM at CTK
At Band of Brothers you will find a transparent group of men who are seeking God together and encouraging each other. Come get fed twice! You will get a free meal and experience a chance to feast on the Word of God. No need to sign up, just come as you are (straight from work if needed). For questions contact .

Men's Small Groups

Tuesday or Thursday mornings (6:30 AM) or
Saturday mornings (7:00 AM)

There are some topics that should be addressed man to man. Our morning groups tackle those kinds of issues. If you are interested, please contact Felix Anderson for specific groups and room assignments.

When you're in over your head with a home improvement project or auto repair, the quickest way out is to find a buddy who's done it before. The same is true with a man's spiritual life. When we can draw on the knowledge and experience of someone who's walked the road ahead of us, we begin to really move ahead.

In the New Testament, a young guy named Timothy had this kind of relationship with his mentor, the Apostle Paul. Paul didn't have every answer, but he was willing to walk alongside Timothy and help point him in the right direction. With equal doses of challenge and encouragement, Paul helped Timothy stay strong in the faith. Compelled by his love for God, Paul chose to "pay forward" the grace and wisdom given to him.

So who's your Paul? Who's your Timothy? Are you ready for a mentoring relationship like theirs? CTK's new MentorMen ministry has opportunities for men willing to act as a mentor and also for men who want to deepen their walk with Christ through a relationship with a mentor. You'll meet together on a regular basis that works for both of you in order to identify and achieve your spiritual goals.
